Gate motors in Valjevo. The gate opens as you pull up

We install motors on sliding and swing gates, so you can open the gate with a remote or from your phone without getting out of the car. We add photocells, which stop the gate when something is in the way, and a warning lamp. Then we set the gate's travel and the motor's force to suit the gate's weight. If you like, we also link the gate to your intercom, so you can let visitors in from the house. We fit gate motors in Valjevo, our base, and also in Belgrade or any other part of Serbia.

What we do

  • Sliding gates: a motor beside the post and a gear rack along the gate
  • Swing gate motors, for single or double leaves
  • Remote controls and opening the gate from your phone
  • Photocells on both sides of the opening and a warning lamp
  • Travel, speed and force set to the gate's weight
  • A power supply from the fuse board to the motor
  • A key-operated manual release for power cuts
  • A backup battery, so the gate works without mains power
  • Linking the gate to your intercom

When you need it

  • Every day you get out of the car to push open a heavy gate, in rain and snow alike. With a motor, you stay behind the wheel while it opens.

  • You're putting up a new fence and gate. If a conduit for the motor and photocell cables goes in before the posts are concreted, nothing has to be broken open later.

  • Your old motor is worn out: it's slow, it stutters or it leaves the gate half open. We fit a new motor to the same gate, and on a sliding gate we keep the gear rack if it's sound.

  • It's a fair walk from the house to the gate, and visitors and deliveries ring from the street. Once the gate is linked to a video intercom, you see who it is and open up from indoors or from your phone.

  • Company vehicles and deliveries use your business yard. Each driver gets their own remote, so nobody waits for someone to open the gate.

Good to know

A motorised gate is heavy and moves on its own, so safety around it can't depend on whether anyone is watching. An invisible beam runs between photocells on either side of the opening, and if something breaks it while the gate is closing, the gate stops and reverses. We set the motor's force so the gate doesn't press against an obstacle at full strength. The European standard EN 12453 sets the safety requirements for power-operated gates. Teach children not to walk through while the gate is moving.

How we work

  1. You send us a photo.

Take a photo of the gate and posts, send it on Viber or WhatsApp, and tell us whether it slides or swings, how wide it is and whether there's power nearby.

  2. We check the gate.

Before fitting anything, we check that the gate moves easily by hand, what state the wheels, guides or hinges are in and where the motor can go.

  3. We mount the motor.

On a sliding gate, the motor goes beside the post and the gear rack along the gate. On a swing gate, the motor is fixed to the post and to the leaf with brackets.

  4. We wire it and set it up.

We bring power from the fuse board, connect the photocells, the lamp and the remote receiver, then set the end positions, the speed and the force.

  5. We test it and hand over.

We open and close the gate several times and check that the photocells stop it. We add the remotes to the receiver and show you the manual release.

Can a motor be fitted to the gate I already have?

Usually yes, as long as the gate glides easily when you push it and the frame is sound. Sliding and swing gates take different motors, chosen by the gate's weight and the width of the opening. On the visit we check the rails, wheels and hinges, then suggest a motor, remotes and, if you like, opening from your phone.

What does a gate motor's price depend on?

Mostly on the type of gate, its weight and width, because they decide which motor it needs. The distance to a power supply, the number of remotes and extras such as phone control or an intercom link count too. So we price it for your gate: send us a photo and the measurements, and we'll suggest what suits it.

How do I open the gate in a power cut?

By hand. Every gate motor has a manual release, usually a key: turn it and the gate moves freely by hand. When the power is back, lock the motor again. If the gate must work without power, we also fit a backup battery. Keep the key somewhere everyone at home knows, not in the car.
