Service and maintenance, Valjevo. Faults are found by testing, not guesswork
When the wiring or one of your systems stops working, we find the cause, replace only the faulty part and test the whole system, and we inspect systems that still work so they don't fail at the worst moment. We service fuse boards and wiring, cameras and recorders, alarms, intercoms, gate motors, barriers, access control and sound systems. Service calls take us from Valjevo, the firm's seat, to Belgrade and to places large and small across Serbia.
What we do
- Fault diagnosis by testing, part by part
- Equipment replacement: cameras, recorders, detectors, gate motors
- Periodic inspection of working systems
- Tracing faults in the wiring and the fuse board
- Repairs after storms and power surges
- Checks on power supplies, adapters and batteries
- Servicing systems we didn't install
- Periodic inspection contracts for businesses
- Urgent fault call-outs
When you need it
A camera shows a black picture or the recorder has stopped recording. We find out whether the fault is in the camera, the cable, the power supply or the disk.
The alarm keeps sounding for nothing, so nobody takes it seriously any more. The cause is often a detector, a battery or a badly set zone.
The gate stops halfway or reverses as soon as it starts. Often the photocells, the motor's force setting or a sticking wheel is to blame.
After a storm the intercom is dead and the RCD on the board has tripped. We check both the wiring and the equipment the surge may have damaged.
Your business has cameras, an alarm and a gate, and you want them checked in good time, before something stops in the middle of a working day.
Good to know
One symptom can have several causes. A camera with no picture may be faulty, but the problem is often the power supply, a port on the PoE switch or moisture in a connector. So we measure the voltage, check cables and joints one part at a time, and only then replace what's actually broken, rather than swapping out working equipment one piece after another.
How we work
You describe the fault.
Tell us when the fault started and exactly what happens. A short video or photo sent on Viber or WhatsApp often says more than a description.
We find the cause.
On site we measure the power and the signal, check cables and joints, and isolate parts of the system until we find the one that's failing. Cost comes from the time spent tracking the fault down and from the part that's replaced.
We suggest a repair or a replacement.
Before we replace anything, we tell you what's faulty, what we suggest and what it will cost.
We fix the fault.
We repair or replace the faulty part, and if the fault came from damp, a surge or a badly laid cable, we deal with the cause as well.
We test the whole system.
After the repair we test the whole system, not just the part we fixed: that the cameras record, the alarm reports and the gate opens all the way.
What does a periodic inspection cover?
We check the parts that can fail. For example, on cameras we clean the glass and check that the recorder is recording and the disk is healthy; on alarms we test each detector and the panel's battery; on gates we look at the rails, wheels, photocells and force setting. Afterwards you know what's fine and what will need replacing soon.
Which makes more sense, a repair or new equipment?
With newer equipment, a repair usually pays off. A burnt-out adapter, damaged cable or faulty photocell is swapped, and the rest carries on. When the equipment is old, spares have run out or a new camera won't work with the old recorder, replacing that section makes more sense. We explain the difference first, and you decide.
Why do cameras, intercoms or gates stop working after a storm?
Often, a surge. A nearby lightning strike or mains spike travels along power lines or long cables to cameras, intercoms and gates, damaging an adapter, motor board or network port. Check the breakers and RCD first. If the RCD trips again straight away, leave it off. Then, or if all is on but the device is dead, call 060 3408993.
