Smart homes in Valjevo. One button as you leave the house
A smart home means you control the lighting, roller shutters and gate from a phone app, whenever you like or on a schedule you set. We fit smart switches and dimmers, motors and modules for roller shutters, link the gate and garage door to the same app, and set up scenes, such as one button that switches off every light and lowers the shutters as you leave. Valjevo is our seat, and we set up smart homes across Serbia, Belgrade included.
What we do
- Lighting: smart switches and dimmers
- Electric roller shutters, linked to the app
- The gate and garage door from your phone
- Control from one app on your phone
- Scenes: one button for leaving, coming home or night-time
- Timers, and light and motion sensors
- Wireless modules behind existing switches
- A wired system while the house is being built or renovated
When you need it
Building or renovating is the moment to lay cables to the switches, roller shutters and sensors for a wired system that doesn't rely on batteries.
You still raise the roller shutters with a strap or crank and want them to go down on their own. A motor inside the roller tube and a control module do that for you.
You own a weekend cottage or travel a lot, and want to use your phone to switch on a light or open the gate when someone arrives.
The switches are in awkward places, or there are too many for one room. A scene on a single button switches everything on or off at once.
Good to know
A smart home can be wired or wireless. A wired system is planned before plastering, and its switches and sensors don't depend on a wireless signal or batteries. A wireless module fits behind an existing switch and leaves the walls untouched, but many such modules need the neutral conductor in the switch box, and older installations often don't have one there. So before choosing modules, it's worth checking what's in the box.
How we work
You name the devices.
Tell us which lights, roller shutters, gate or garage door you want to control from your phone, and photograph the switches and shutter boxes for us.
We choose wired or wireless.
For a house under construction we suggest a wired system; for a lived-in flat, wireless modules that need no new cables through the walls. The cost is set by how many devices you want and whether new cables are needed.
We fit the modules and motors.
Modules go behind the switches or into the fuse board, motors into the roller tubes, and the gate is linked through a module on its control board.
We configure the app and scenes.
We bring every device into one app, create scenes for leaving and for night-time and timers for the shutters, then check that each device responds.
We go through it together.
Finally we go through the app with you: how to make a new scene, change a timer and give others in the house access.
Does a smart home still work if the internet goes down?
In most systems the wall switches keep working, so you switch the lights and lower the shutters as usual. What stops without the internet is control from your phone while you're away from home. Whether scheduled scenes and timers keep running offline depends on the system, so if that matters to you, we check it before choosing the equipment.
Can my existing roller shutters be motorised?
Usually, yes. The motor goes inside the roller tube and needs room in the shutter box and a power cable up to it. If there's no cable, one is brought through the wall or along trunking from the nearest socket or junction box. The shutter's weight and width set the motor size, so send us its measurements.
Can I add more devices later?
You can, provided the new devices work with the same system or app. That's why it pays to pick, from the start, a system with room for shutters, sensors or the gate later, not just bulbs. With a wired system, spare cables are left in before plastering, running to the spots where you might add something later.
