Sound for venues. Every part of the venue at its own volume
We install sound systems for cafés, restaurants, shops and warehouses: speakers, amplifiers and zones, so music and announcements come across clearly, without it being too loud in one part of the room and barely audible in another. We fit speakers into ceilings and onto walls, plus an amplifier with zones and a microphone input, and you play music from a phone or computer. Working out of Valjevo, we put in sound systems for venues in Belgrade and elsewhere around Serbia.
What we do
- Speakers for ceilings and walls
- Amplifiers with inputs for music and a microphone
- Zones, each at its own volume
- A microphone for announcements and calls
- Music from a phone, computer or network player
- 100 V speaker lines for large spaces
- Outdoor speakers for a venue's garden or terrace
- Speaker cables inside walls or suspended ceilings
When you need it
You're opening a café or restaurant and want background music that doesn't drown out the conversation at the table.
Your venue has a bar, a dining room and a garden, and each needs a different volume. Zones sort that out without moving a single speaker.
In a warehouse or industrial unit, announcements and calls to staff have to be heard over the noise of machines and forklifts.
Your shop has just one speaker by the till, and elsewhere in the shop the music can hardly be heard.
Good to know
In larger spaces, speakers are connected to a 100 V line: the amplifier sends the sound at a higher voltage, so it travels down long cables with little loss, and one amplifier can drive many speakers. Each speaker has a small transformer with taps that set how much power it takes, so the volume can be set speaker by speaker, not just zone by zone.
How we work
You describe the space.
Send us photos or a floor plan and the ceiling height, and say what the system is for: music in the background, announcements or both.
We lay out speakers and zones.
From the floor area and ceiling height we work out how many speakers go in each zone and where, so the sound is even with no loud spots. The number of speakers and zones also sets the price.
We cable and mount the speakers.
Speaker cables run through the suspended ceiling, in trunking or inside the wall, and the speakers are set into the ceiling or hung on walls and garden brackets.
We connect the amplifier and sound sources.
The amplifier goes by the bar or in a cabinet, and we connect the phone, computer or player and the announcement microphone to it.
We set each zone's volume.
We set each zone's volume by listening in the room itself, so the music is equally clear everywhere. We show you which control changes which zone.
How many speakers does a venue need?
The number depends on the room size, the ceiling height and how noisy it gets. Several small speakers spread across the ceiling usually sound better than two big ones in the corners: the sound is even and nobody sits beside one that's too loud. We settle the number once we know the room and its use.
Can we play music from a phone?
You can. A phone connects to the amplifier by cable or wirelessly, depending on what the amplifier supports. For a venue, though, it's more practical to play from a computer or network player that stays by the amplifier, so the music doesn't stop when a member of staff walks off with their phone or takes a call.
Can the same system make announcements?
It can. Sound system amplifiers usually have a microphone input, and many have a priority function: while someone speaks, the music turns itself down. That's enough for calling staff or making announcements to customers. A voice evacuation system for fires is a separate fire safety system, and this sound system doesn't replace it.
