Parking systems in Valjevo. Drivers know there's a space before they drive in

A parking system counts free spaces, reads number plates and takes payment, so drivers see at the entrance whether there's room, and you know which vehicle parked and for how long. At the entrances and exits we fit LPR cameras, loops or sensors that count vehicles, a display with the number of free spaces and a pay station, and where there are barriers, we connect them to the system. We install parking systems in Belgrade and throughout Serbia, with Valjevo as our base.

What we do

  • LPR cameras that read number plates at the entrances and exits
  • Free-space counting for the whole car park or level by level
  • Payment at a pay station or by number plate
  • A display at the entrance showing the free spaces
  • Loops or sensors that count every vehicle in and out
  • Connection to the barriers, so they let through paid-up and listed vehicles
  • A list of regular vehicles that park without paying
  • Cabling, power and network to the cameras, displays and pay stations

When you need it

  • You charge for parking and want drivers to pay for exactly the time they stayed, without paper tickets or someone standing at the exit.

  • The car park at your business or shop fills up fast, and drivers circle looking for a space. A display at the entrance shows them whether there's room.

  • The car park has several levels, so drivers don't know which way to turn. Level-by-level counting shows where the spaces are before they drive into the garage.

  • Staff should park without paying, while visitors pay. The camera recognises the plates on the list and lets them through, and times everyone else from the moment they enter.

Good to know

An LPR camera photographs the vehicle at the entrance, and software finds the plate in the image and turns it into text, which is checked against a list or saved with the time of entry. For reliable reading, the camera sits beside the entry lane, at a fixed distance from the point where the plate is read and at an angle where the plate doesn't glare, and at night infrared light illuminates the plate. A clean plate on a car that approaches slowly reads best.

How we work

  1. You send us a sketch.

Send us a car park sketch or photos and tell us how many spaces, entrances and exits it has, whether it has several levels and whether parking is paid.

  2. We lay out the equipment.

On the sketch we mark where the cameras, loops or sensors, displays, pay station and barriers go, so that no entrance or exit is left uncovered.

  3. We mount and wire it all.

Cameras and displays go up, cables and loops go in, every device gets power and network, and the barriers are linked to the cameras and the pay station.

  4. We enter the rules.

We enter the number of spaces, the list of regular vehicles and the tariff you give us, then set the display to show the exact number of free spaces.

  5. We run a trial.

We run vehicles through the entrance and exit and check that the camera reads the plates, that the space count changes and that time is counted correctly.

How is the cost of a parking system worked out?

By the equipment the car park needs, and that depends mostly on how many entrances and exits it has: each gets its own camera, and usually a barrier and a loop. Payment, how spaces are counted and cable lengths add to it. Once you send a sketch and say how the car park is used, we'll suggest the equipment.

What if the camera can't read the plate?

Then the vehicle gets in another way, which is why every lane with a camera needs a backup: a card, a ticket, a remote or a call over the intercom. Plates are most often covered by snow, mud or a bike rack, or they're damaged. Decide this when planning, so no driver is left waiting at a lowered barrier.

Does space counting work without a barrier?

Yes. Loops or sensors in the entry and exit lanes count the vehicles coming in and going out, and the display shows how much room is left. Without a barrier, the system can't stop a car when the car park is full; it can only show that it's full. Sensors above each bay can also track every space.
