Intercoms in Valjevo. See who's ringing before you open
A video intercom shows you who's standing at the gate or the building entrance, and from inside you talk to them and open the door or gate with one button. We fit audio and video intercoms: the outdoor call panel with a camera, the indoor monitor or handset and the link to an electric lock or gate motor, for a house or a block of flats. We fit intercoms from Valjevo, where we're registered, to Belgrade and elsewhere in Serbia.
What we do
- Audio and video intercoms
- Door and gate release from inside
- An outdoor call panel with a camera
- Indoor monitors or handsets, in one room or several
- Connection to an electric lock or door strike
- A link to a sliding or swing gate motor
- Call forwarding to your mobile, on newer models
- Intercoms for blocks of flats, with a button for each flat
When you need it
Your gate is a long way from the house, so every ring means going out, rain or not. With a video intercom, you open it from the living room.
Your old intercom crackles, won't release the door or has stopped working altogether, and parts for it can no longer be found.
You manage a block of flats and want each flat to have its own button and monitor, with the door released from inside the flat.
You're out when a courier or tradesman arrives, and you want to open the gate for them from work, on your phone.
Good to know
Old audio intercoms often have four or five wires between the entrance panel and the handset indoors. A modern two-wire video intercom needs just two wires for picture, sound and power, so it can use two of the existing ones, with no new cables and no chasing of walls. Whether that works for yours depends on the type and condition of the existing cables, so we check them before choosing the equipment.
How we work
You photograph the old intercom.
Send us photos of the existing entrance panel, the handset indoors and the cables behind them if you can see them, and tell us how far away the gate is.
We choose the system.
Going by the cables and how many entrances and monitors there are, we pick wired or wireless, with or without video, and how the door and gate will be released.
We fit panel and monitor.
We fit the call panel at the entrance, the monitor or handset indoors and an electric lock or strike on the door if there isn't one.
We connect gate and phone.
We connect the intercom to the gate motor and, on models that support it, to the phone app, then make a test call to check the picture, sound and release.
Questions
Can my intercom open the gate and ring my phone?
Yes. A video intercom connects to the gate motor or an electric door lock, so you open it with one button from inside. Newer models forward the call and the picture to your phone, so you can open the gate even from work. On the visit we check the existing cables and suggest a wired or wireless system.
Which is better for the door: an electric strike or a magnetic lock?
For house doors and gates an electric strike is usually better, and for building and office doors a magnetic lock. A strike replaces the plate in the frame and releases your lock's latch on a button press. A magnetic lock holds the door with a magnet while powered. Without power it releases; a strike depends on its type.
Why do video intercom prices vary so much?
Because of the model and the size of the job. A house has one call panel and one or more monitors, a block of flats a button and monitor for each flat. New cables, or links to a lock, a gate motor and your phone, add to the price. A photo of your current intercom shows what can stay.
